Why was Ejdabya selected? Noor Al Hayat went to the city of Dena directly after it was liberated from the terrorist organization's control which has spread fear and horror in the hearts of locals for so many years. Many children suffered from psychological problems because of the violent conflicts and because the terrorist organizations practiced violence, killing, and terrorism in the city. We found the city in a terrible state with so much destruction. We trained a team of psychological and social workers to present support to the school and Noor Al Hayat also organized several psychological social support activities in schools. We also conducted many workshops in schools to introduce child rights and raise awareness about the dangers of abuse and the negative effects of the internet. This was done with the support of UNICEF and the concerned security entities in the city presented us with the necessary security protection to perform our activities peacefully.
