Psychological Social Support (PCC) with UNICEF in Tarhouna

Why was Tarhouna selected? Over the past few years, the people of Tarhouna suffered from militant conflicts, and many of the children and teenagers in the city suffered psychological problems because of the violence policy that was dominant under the rule of one of the armed terrorist groups in the city. The schools also suffer so much because of the absence of recreational activities because there are no toys or any facilities for the kids to play with because toys and playing activities are so expensive. Through the support of UNICEF and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Noor Al Hayat was able to launch a psychological social support campaign in the city and performed so many recreational activities there. We also presented to the school boxes that have a lot of intelligence games and sports tools. We also conducted many workshops to raise awareness about child rights and to educate children about the dangers of abuse and the negative effects of the internet. We also cooperated with the scouts' team in the city to make other activities of social support in the public parks and the areas that have migrants from other cities.
